About the role

This newly created role will suit an experienced Business Analyst who is a tech savvy, self-motivated team player looking for a role with plenty of variety and future scope, within a world leading NZ company. As the Business Systems Analyst reporting into the Head of Operations, you will support Modica's staff and internal stakeholders through enhancing, procuring and maintaining our IT systems and services. Your analysis and optimisation will enable us to work with pace, be operationally effective and deliver our best work possible.
You will understand the challenges of working within a high growth environment and be able to prioritise your workload in a nimble and communicative fashion that ensures delivery in a timely, efficient and cost-effective manner. Your drive to exceed deadlines and deliver outcome focused will be well utilised in this role. While there is a lot of variety and your analytical projects may vary, day to day activities will include:

  • Understanding the IT landscape, business requirements and involved stakeholders across the Modica Group
  • Identifying the core business needs including security, legal, finance and operations
  • Gap analysis and providing researched and relevant recommendations to improve systems and processes  
  • Developing strong relationships and networking with internal and external stakeholders
  • Being pragmatic, understanding needs vs wants and pushing back where required
  • Offering support where needed in all areas of analysis and design

About you
